Neil Fraser died on December 2 in Melbourne. He was 91 years old.
Fraser is a three-time Grand Slam singles champion, 11-time doubles champion and five-time mixed doubles champion. In 1959 and 1960 he won the US Open in all three categories.
Fraser is a four-time Davis Cup winner with the Australian national team (1959-1962). After finishing his playing career, he captained the national team in the Davis Cup and Fed Cup.
In 1984, Fraser was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame. In 2008, the ITF awarded him the Philippe Chatrier Award for excellence in tennis.
Fraser was an Officer of the Order of Australia and an MBE.
