Connor McDavid is the 1st player in 15 years to have a 16+ consecutive point game streak in two consecutive seasons.


The Edmonton captain scored the game-winning goal in the NHL regular season game with Calgary (2:1), extending his current streak with points to 16 (15 + 17 in the stretch).


The Canadian continues to lead the scoring and scoring races with 67 points and 31 goals in 36 games.


McDavid became the second player in 15 years to streak 16+ point games in two consecutive seasons. Last season, the striker set his personal record (17 games).


The last time Dani Heatley managed to do this (2005/06-22 games, 2006/07-16).
